Our Optometrist:

• Solette matriculated in 1989 from Hoërskool Helpmekaar.
• She qualified at RAU in 1994 with a B Optom degree.
• After qualifying she practiced at Torga Optical for four years.
• She then relocated to Durban, where she worked with well-known and respected ophthalmologist, Dr Albert Rowan until 2001.
• She completed her Certificate of advanced Study in Ocular Disease and Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Application in 2002.
• She joined Windermere Optometrists as a partner in 2000 for eight years.
• Solette returned to Johannesburg at the beginning of 2008.
• She has always had an interest in the pediatric field and enjoys working with children.
• On returning to Gauteng in 2008 she started at the University of Johannesburg supervising in the clinics and lectured pediatric optometry to the third year students for three years.
• She also practiced at Clearwater Optometrists.
• She relocated to George in 2013.
